Fortify Negotiations is a non-profit organization that trains animal advocacy organizations in the art of negotiation so that they have the skills to win animal welfare policies.

Fortify Negotiations offers free services to meet the needs of participants regardless of where they are at in their skill development
Rapid Response
Fast digital consultations for timely, expert guidance. This service helps advocates make strong decisions under pressure and respond effectively during fast-moving campaign moments.
Specialized Courses
Targeted workshops and coaching to build specific skills. Through practice and feedback, participants strengthen negotiation abilities and turn confident communication into strategic results.
Immersive Training
A multi-month mix of in-person and remote sessions. Participants train with negotiators, practice in live campaigns, and develop the capacity to lead complex, high-stakes negotiations.
MEET THE TEAM
Aaron Ross
Founder & Lead Trainer Aaron has advocated for animals for over 25 years. He co-founded The Humane League, Open Wing Alliance, and Fortify Negotiations.
With expertise in strategy and negotiation, he’s secured ground-breaking animal welfare policies internationally, trained hundreds of activists, and currently advises dozens of organizations and foundations worldwide.
Marta Cendrowicz
Principal Negotiations Lead & TrainerMarta spent over a decade contributing to the growth of Anima International. As Director of Corporate Campaigns in the Polish branch of Anima International, she led the cage-free campaign, persuading major companies to adopt stronger animal welfare standards.
For the past six years, she has served as Director of Global Growth helping national groups increase their impact for farmed animals.
